KittyCheck™ 4 Diabetes Screen
By popular demand, we added one more test to our product line KittyCheck™ 4 Diabetes Screen. It signals you when glucose is present in your cat's urine. This symptom could be a sign of a complex and common endocrine disorder in cats - diabetes mellitus or "sugar diabetes". Cats with diabetes are not capable of using glucose properly, and as a result, they have high levels of glucose in urine (glucosuria). It is common for a cat to have early stages of diabetes, yet not show any sign of it until the condition is quite advanced. Since diabetes can be managed more successfully when detected and treated early, monitoring your cat at home should be an important part of your cat care.
